My 2006 passat passenger door would not open from the outside but it would open from the inside then the problem moved to the rear door and the child lock is on so i cannot open it from the inside either. The battery is likely dead and needs to be replaced but the remote s may also need to be reprogrammed to work. If this happens the problem is with the remote.
