02 Bmw X5 Outside Door Handle Won T Open

I went through passenger side and unlocked the driver side by pulling the handle.

I have a 1999 e39 528. Note that you may wish to order a few new inner door trim panel securing clips. I have gained access to the inside of the door and i can make the lock release by manually pushing up on the cabel arm ball end of the cable. Inside handle still works.
